Foam

In synthetic material, it is classified into three categories: Polyether foam: from a density of 16 kg / m3 to 25 kg / m3, these are classic foams which offer the essential comfort and correspond rather to premium mattresses price or extra. High resilience polyurethane foam: with a higher density from 30 kg / m3 to 55 kg / m3, they are much more qualitative and offer better comfort. You will find them in regular or structured versions depending on the products. Visco-elastic foam: these are memory foam that adapts to body heat. They allow a better distribution of the pressure points of the body.

The springs

These are the most traditional. They offer excellent ventilation and come in different forms. Biconical springs: these are the most common. Generally speaking, their number varies from 240 to 350 for a 140×190 cm mattress. You will be amazed to know the Sleepwell 4 inch mattress price. They have the advantage of being robust but do not offer sleeping independence. Pocket springs: each spring is in a bag and remains independent of the others. This brings great comfort in terms of sleeping independence and avoids the “bowl” effect. They are also very quiet. Their number varies from 400 to 800 springs for a 140×190 cm mattress. Multi-turn or multi-active springs: it is a three-dimensional mesh made from continuous steel wire, worked in the form of turns. The number of spins varies between 600 and 3000 depending on the degree of comfort for a 140×190 cm mattress. Whatever the nature of the spring is, the higher their number, the more support the mattress will provide.

Latex

Latex does not sag over time. There are two variants: natural, not widespread, and synthetic, much more common, regularly used for the manufacture of mattresses. To have the name “Latex”, the block of latex must be at least 10 cm thick. It is either perforated or porous, which provides excellent support but also pleasant ventilation of the mattress. It is found in different densities ranging from 55 kg / M3 to 83 kg / M3. The higher the density, the more the mattress will tend to be firm.

COMFORT

The concept of comfort and firmness remains entirely subjective and depends on the perception of each, but also on two essential elements: welcome and support. The welcome: it is the first sensation when you lie down on a mattress. The larger the filling and the more components, the more comfortable and fluffy is the welcome. You will find in our selection five types of reception: comfort (typical response), high comfort (soft reaction), luxury (lovely greeting), prestige (extra generous welcome) and dynamic (invigorating reception). The support: it is the heart of the mattress, composed of springs, foam or latex, which characterizes the firmness of the bed. You will find in our selection three types of support: balanced, firm and very firm.

Warning: Soft does not mean that your mattress will be soft. It depends on the support that will be chosen. Softness and firmness are therefore not incompatible. It is possible to combine substantial support with a quiet welcome.
